Every Wednesday throughout the month of July 2020 (7/1, 7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29), the Book Bears hosted an Instagram live where one volunteer per week read a picture book. Volunteers chose their own picture books to read and opened the Instagram live up to anyone who wanted to join with the target audience being kindergarten through 2nd graders.

This is the second virtual reading event held by Book Bears during quarantine as an effort to reach out to kids and keep them engaged with the community during the pandemic. Book Bears had so much fun with this event, and has more in the works!
