The Book Bears club was started by two friends who love reading. Daisy Noh (OCSA ‘22) and Isabelle Tran (OCSA ‘22) met in eighth grade and became good friends ever since. Bonded by a love for reading, they decided to start a club during sophomore year of high school that would make a difference through storytelling.

They got to work; planning and coming up with projects that would help them reach their goal. Alongside compassionate and motivated club members, they were able to turn an idea into a reality. Today, Isabelle and Daisy are continuing to look for ways to grow their team, tell more stories, and reach more people in the community with their message.
